FY2027 Arts Organizations General Operating Support Grants

Harford County Cultural Arts Board provides General Operating Support awards to eligible arts nonprofits based in Harford County. The awards are intended to strengthen the structure of these community organizations and ensure the ongoing availability and accessibility of the arts for Harford County residents and visitors. Award amounts vary, up to a maximum of $15,000 per fiscal year.

Eligibility

• Nonprofit organizations that are incorporated in Maryland, receive tax-exempt status from the US Internal Revenue Service, whose primary business is the arts, and whose principal place of business is Harford County may request support for general operating expenses.
• Applicants must have operated as an arts nonprofit organization for a minimum of one full fiscal year and be able to submit a financial statement for their most recently completed fiscal year at the time of application.

Application Deadline: Friday, June 26, 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET
Funding Period: September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027
Final Report Deadline: August 1, 2027

Grant-funded operations and programs must occur during the funding period. All awarded funds must be obligated no later than June 30, 2027.
