Harford County Public Library Foundation seeks a painter to capture the scenes of the 19th Annual Library Gala, SpyBall: Secrets in the Stacks

The Harford County Public Library Foundation seeks a local artist to paint a scene at the Gala that we could offer as part of the silent auction.
The Gala will take place Saturday, November 4th at the Abingdon Library. The theme celebrates the 70th Anniversary of Ian Fleming’s James Bond novels. In the spirit of the suave and sophisticated 007, the SpyBall will transport guests to a glamorous world of mystery and intrigue featuring mouthwatering cuisine and an imaginative drink menu, high-energy musical entertainment, an escape room and more. The SpyBall will also feature an astounding silent auction with sensational packages just in time for the holiday season.
The annual Gala is the Library’s largest fundraiser and critical to efforts to provide resources, services, and programs to all citizens of Harford County including early literacy programs, internet access, and cultural opportunities. This year’s Gala proceeds will support the Rolling Reader, a bookmobile that serves under-resourced communities in Harford County.
The Library Gala’s silent auction is an outstanding opportunity to showcase local businesses to our 650 Gala guests while making a meaningful donation to the Library and the communities it serves. Our multi-media donor recognition packages reach the Library’s 142,000 registered borrowers and millions of website visitors annually. The HCPL Foundation is a tax-exempt organization (ID#23-2987712). All donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
